A prominent player in Nigerian aviation industry and the Station Manager, Arik Air Abuja, Amb. Dangana Haruna Ibrahim has been honoured at the just concluded Nigerian Youth Achievers Awards 2022.
He was honoured as Nigerian Aviation Man of the Year.
The award is in recognition of his excellent service delivery in the sector as well as his humanitarian gestures in the society.
The award was the 5th edition in the series.
Prominent personalities in the aviation sector came out to support one of their own during the event which took place at oriental Hotel in Lagos.
Speaking at the event, Amb.Dangana H Ibrahim who hails from Lere LGA in Kaduna State expressed gratitude to organisers of the award for finding him worthy of the honour, assuring that he will continue to do his best in raising the bar of humanitarian service.
He is reputed to have touched lives through his philanthropic activities in his community Kaduna and beyond. He is also said to have empowered young people across the length and breadth of this nation.
Not long ago, he joined the list of 2022 Peace Achievers awardees along with respected Nigerians, such as the governor of Nasarawa state, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, his Delta state counterpart and the vice presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, member representing Ika federal constituency, Honourable Victor Nwokolo, Founder Freelight of Nigeria Youth Foundation, Hajiya Farida Musa Jauro and many more in winning the award.
The award was designed to honour Nigerians who have contributed immensely to the country's peace and development.
