It Is Time To Remake Imo State...Charles Onyirimba

By Val Igwebuike.

American based legal practitioner and consummate technocrat, Attorney Dr Charles Chibuike Onyirimba has called on Imo citizens to get ready to embrace a new,, functional and productive Imo state.

Charles Onyirimba, who is also a leading gubermatorial aspirant in Labour Party, made this assertive statement during an interactive media parley with journalists in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

Onyirimba decried the ravaging state of things in the State and the entire country, Nigeria. According to the legal luminary, the visible political malady and economic catastrophe that have engulfed the country is at present beyond comprehension.

Attorney Charles Onyirimba lamented: "This is terrible. It has never been this horrible before.

All ugly trends seem to be surfacing at the same time: Fuel scarcity, money scarcity, insecurity and general socioeconomic frustrations.

This is getting unbearable for the innocent people of our state and country, who played no known role in the creation of this calamitous political environment in the country."

The Imo born American technocrat reassured Imo citizens that there is still light at the end of the tunnel. He said, with the calibre of personalities in the State and their recognised educational sophistication, a four year tenure of serious and committed political administration is enough to rewrite our history, and position Imo State in the direction of positive social growth and maximum economic prosperity.

Responding to questions on his roadmap to reposition the state if given the opportunity to govern Imo State, Onyirimba reiterated: "As I said during my declaration speech on the 21st December, 2022, I have come with my expansive wealth of experience and sound educational background to bring about unprecedented industrialisation. I have come to transform Imo State for the good of the entire citizens.

I am not a routine politician but a technocrat with advanced ethics and sound knowledge of the law, and legal system. I have come to REMAKE Imo state".

In his reaction to the current hardship occasioned by lack of access to people's money in their various commercial banks in the country, Onyirimba expressed shock with what he described as an economic anomaly that is beyond human comprehension.

He thereafter called on our frustrated Imonites to be patient with the present conditions that have reduced people's standard of living to an abysmal level.

Onyirimba concluded that the indescribable agonies on the faces of Nigerians is the reason for the emergence of a political savour in the name of Peter Obi. He therefore called on all Imo electorates to vote for Peter Obi for a new progressive Nigeria.
