“It’s shameful”- Police PRO Adejobi condemns police officers who demand money from complainants

 

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has condemned the acts of police officers who demand money from complainant before they investigate a case, and officers in the charge rooms who extort family members of suspects in detention.

In a series of tweets, Adejobi stated that it is shameful and unprofessional for officers to convert the charge room to an extortion room.See his tweets below…
