The Managing Director Skyewise Group, Dr. Elvis Abuyere has congratulated a former bank chief executive, Dr. Alex Otti of the Labour Party (LP) on his victory as governor-elect of Abia State arising from the March 18 governorship election in the state.
Dr. Abuyere who worked as head of Protocol services under Dr. Otti in First bank expressed hope that the victory of his former boss will usher a new dawn in Abia, urging the people of the state to join forces with the incoming governor to rebuild the state for the overall good of the people.
In a goodwill message, Dr. Abuyere called on the political class to put politics behind and make meaningful contribution in raising the bar of development in Abia and South East in general.
He said, "The people of Abia state have spoken with their votes and as such Abians regardless of party affiliation must rally support for the Governor-elect.
"I am optimistic that Dr. Otti judging by his antecedents as a private sector player will bring to bear his administrative acumen in piloting the affairs of Abia State."
