Ohanaeze President, Chief Iwuanyanwu Hosts Organisers Of South East Leadership Summit Ahead Event

A renowned business mogul, the Chief Executive Officer Oriental Airline and President Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has hosted young student leaders who are spearheading the upcoming South East Leadership Summit. 

Chief Iwuanyanwu, founder of Champion Newspaper Ohanézè Ndị Igbo met with the young leaders in Imo State where they came to intimate him on their plans and reason for the event. 

Receiving the team led by the Emeritus SuG President AE-FUNAI and the convener for the south east leadership Summit Comr Jerry Okafor, Chief Iwuanyanwu expressed happiness that young men and women are coming to terms with their roles in the country's leadership. 

According to him, great nations of the world who are making giant strides in global affairs are led by young people. He urged them to make resilience and integrity their watchword in order the set a great example in the leadership of the country. He also pledged the support the summit schedule to hold July this year. 

Earlier in his remarks, Comr Jerry Okafor expressed gratitude to the elder statesman for receiving the team which he said is made of like minds whose aim is to breed leaders ready and capable to change the narratives in the country's polity. 

He stated that South East Leadership Summit, organised by Great Leaders Forum, a non-governmental organization based in Anambra is one of the biggest platforms for young people towards making positive impact in their communities and country at large. 

The summit coming up on 1st July, 2023 has as the theme, "Resilience and Reinvention".

Those in the delegation include, Comr Rotr Benjamin Ifunanya SUG DIRECTOR OF FINANCE ALVAN 38TH REPUBLIC, Comr Nwachiyagoziri Precious SUG SSG 38TH REPUBLIC, COMR Achebe Chizzy SUG VP Alvan 38th Republic, Comr Siokwu Patrick SUG Exchequer 38th Republic and other comrades.
