Nigeria’s Celebrity Broadcast Journalist, Adaora Sydney Jack, has won the Prestigious Media Personality of the Year at the just concluded African Iconic Women Recognition Awards at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja.
She is a passionate advocate for women’s inclusion in governance and former head of women affairs and gender cluster committee for the African Union Economic and social council for Nigeria.
She is also the Anchor for Kaakaki The African voice a premuim current affairs breakfast show on AIT, Produces and Present’s AIT’s Gender Agenda, Africa’s Number 1 Premium program detailing the issues on women from across Africa and also policy literacy for women on Gender on AIT.
A speaker with excellent panache. Adaora thanked God Almighty, and dedicated the Award to HerLate Boss and Mentor, The founder of DAAR Communications, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi whom she described as a Father figure to all who came across him, Adaora also appreciated Dr. Mrs. Tosin Dokpesi MD AIT and Executive Producer Genger Adenda for all her support and her passion towards breaking barriers that limits Women, using the media.
