Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar on Thursday expressed delight on his invitation as as guest speaker at Romania Forum for Economic and Cultural Exchange programme organised by International Union of Universities (IUU).
Atiku in a post on verified social media page on Thursday, said organisers recognised his contribution to education as well as his successful exploits in business.
The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate said : “Today, I received a high-powered delegation from the International Union of Universities (IUU), led by Prof. Mohammed Kher AlGabani. They extended an invitation for me to be the guest speaker at the Romania Forum for Economic and Cultural Exchange, an event organised by the IUU set to take place later this year.
I was deeply humbled by their kind words; they recognised my contributions as a successful businessperson and leader. Additionally, they acknowledged my meaningful investments in the area of education. I am honoured by this recognition and look forward to the upcoming event.”
Abujapress reports that Atiku is the founder of American University of Nigeria, Yola, which is one of the prominent private universities in the country.
