Dr. Jim Chimezie Bags Award Of Excellence At Character Summit 2023

A former senatorial candidate in Anambra Central Senatorial District, Hon. Dr. (Chief) Jim Okolo Chimezie has been conferred with Luminary Character Award of Excellence. 

The award is in recognition of his outstanding leadership, accountability in financial management, his administrative sagacity, capacity building, humanitarian service delivery, excellence and integrity. 

He was honoured along with eminent Nigerians, including the national chairman of Labour Party, Julius Abure, renowned Economist Prof. Pat Utomi and others. 

The Character Summit 2023 took place recently at Gowon Estate, Egbeda Lagos state. 

It had as the theme, "At A Time Like This, The Church Has A Role In Actualisation of SDG 2030 And Nigerian Agenda 2050".

Hon. Chimezie holds several qualifications at the professional level, including Dip in Health, Safety and environment (NISP) Port-Harcourt. 

He is also a member of so many professional bodies which includes Nigerian Institute of Management, Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, OSH Association United Kingdom among others.

He was unavoidably absent at the day of the event in Lagos but a high-powered delegation stormed his Abuja home where he was presented with the award plaque. 

Dr. Chimezie who was recently appointed the West African Coordinator of Universal Migration Enlightenment Centre (UMEC) expressed gratitude to the organizers for the honour and assured that he would continue to make valuable contributions towards the development of humanity in Nigeria. 

Hon. Chimezie boasts of enviable profile. 

He had a Resource Person Status at the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on MDGs (OSSAP- MDGs). He was the Project Geologist with the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development.

He was also appointed as the Lead Consultant of the Economic, Trade and Investment to the Turkish Embassy, Ankara Turkey as well as UNN Consult University of Nigeria –As a Business Development Consultant of UNN Consult.
