Plans have been concluded for the hosting of a strategic entrepreneurship/mentorship symposium by Skyewise Foundation, the humanitarian arm of Skyewise Group of Companies.
The 2-day event runs through Dec. 7—8, 2023 at plot 2402 Shehu Shagari Way, Maitama Abuja.
It will be hosted by the Group Managing Director Skyewise Group, Dr. Elvis Abuyere.
The Managing Director of Skyewise Global Investment Services Ltd, Mr. Oluwole Senkoya will also speak at the event.
This comes days after the organisation successfully hosted its Entrepreneurship Summit 2023, which had as the theme, "Unveiling the Power Within You For National Entrepreneurial Growth and Development".
Skyewise Group doled out the sum of N2m to 5 lucky entrepreneurs who pitched their businesses. The star award of N1m was given to the first person while N250k each went to the remaining four persons, aimed at empowering them for self-reliance.
Abuyere said those who benefitted from the disbursement of funds are young entrepreneurs who convinced the judges on their business ideas.
Beneficiaries include, Ojo Oluwatobi Felicia, Saadatu Hamza Madaki, Oyi Joseph Okechukwu, Peter Esiet and Mercy Adeoluwa.
Dr. Elvis Abuyere in Oct played host to the founder of The Billionaire Conclave (TBC), Dr. Olumide Emmanuel to a VIP business dinner in Abuja which had as the theme, "Cracking The Billionaires' Code".
