Abuja Pastor, Great Philip Johnson Takes Succour To Widows, Orphans In Gwarimpa

An Abuja-based pastor and the founder of God’s Empire Christian Centre, Great Philip Johnson has brought smiles to the faces of widows and Orphans in the Gwarimpa area of the city, following the distribution of food palliatives and other relief materials.


The humanitarian campaign recently was part of his Christmas package to ensure that less privileged persons around the area have reasons to smile at the festive season despite the harsh economic realities of the moment.


Accompanied by members of his church and family, the clergy took items such as foodstuffs, clothing materials, and cash.


This is one of the series of similar outreach he held during the Christmas and New Year festivities.

The benefiting widows and orphans were full of gratitude to the man of God and members of his team for identifying with them during the period.


He is often referred to a generous and as a man of heart of gold. As a minister of God, he has equally made it a priority to ensure that the people he is shepherding over are well taken care of.


This is anchored on his firm belief that the physical body needs to be in order before the spiritual being can assimilate and function optimally.


He has offered scholarships to over 15 students, placed at least 50 widows on monthly salaries, constantly donates relief materials to orphanage homes, reaches out to homes and individuals on constant basis.

Shortly after the distribution of the items, he offered divine solicitations for them and presented them to God in prayer.


He told newsmen that the campaign was part of efforts to fulfill the ministry for which God has anointed him.


While acknowledging that the days are difficult, the revered urged kind-hearted individuals to make it a point of duty to reach out to people in their environment and beyond, saying in so doing, God's blessings are attracted
