Gov Fubara swears in 16 new permanent secretaries

 

Sim Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, inaugurated 16 permanent secretaries on Tuesday to fill administrative vacancies in ministries.


During the brief ceremony, Governor Sim Fubara emphasized to the new Permanent Secretaries the necessity of avoiding politics. He asked them to see their appointments as a call to action, committed to assisting his administration in providing good governance and other democratic dividends to the people.


Governor Sim Fubara presided over the swearing-in ceremony, emphasizing that the appointed bureaucrats were carefully chosen from a large pool of eligible candidates ranging in the thousands. He underlined that their selection was entirely based on merit.


The Governor asked the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to treat their roles as sacrosanct and to avoid political actions. Furthermore, he guaranteed the state’s government servants of a pleasant working environment.


Following the ceremony, official automobiles were delivered to the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries.
