Chukwuemeka, Madueke lead Chelsea to FA Cup semi-finals
Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke scored two late goals to help Chelsea to a 4-2 win over Leicester City which sealed their place in the last four of the FA Cup.
Marc Cucurella gave Chelsea the lead in the 13th minute following a good work from Nicolas Jackson.
Raheem Sterling missed a penalty in the 26th minute before Cole Palmer scored the second goal with a cool finish from Sterling’s cross.
Leicester City resumed the second half with a renewed hope asking salient questions before they were able to reduce the deficit in a fortunate manner.
Axel Disasi scored a comical own goal in the six minutes into the second half when he passed the ball into his own net from outside the box with Sanchez out of his line.
Stephy Mavididi restored parity for Leicester City 11 minutes later with a brilliant individual effort.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men when Callum Doyle fouled Nicolas Jackson at the edge of the box, the referee awarded a free kick which was poorly taken by Raheem Sterling.
Carney Chukwuemeka replaced Mykhailo Mudryk in the 78th minute and he combined with Cole Palmer in the 92nd minute to score the third goal.
Noni Madueke completed the victory with a stunning individual effort in the 98th minute to send Chelsea to the last four of the competition.
He has now scored five goals in all competitions for Chelsea this season.
