Accolades As Celebrity Carpenter Is Honoured At Int'l Women Power Conference

Notable individuals have been been honoured at the recently concluded International Women Power Conference 2024 and Global Leading Women Awards, a 2-in-1 event described as convergence of women of virtue. 

The highly successful event honoured men and women of honour and integrity for their committed dedication in philanthropy and humanitarian activities, advancing the horizon for individual and community development. 

Among them is Moses Amiebenomo, popularly known as Celebrity Carpenter. He was honoured in the category of HeForShe Humanitarian Hero Award. 
International Women Power Conference 2024 had as the theme, "The Resilient Woman". 

The event organised by the International Goodwill Ambassador Club was the 9th in the series and was part of the organization’s efforts to recognise the giant efforts women have made in their spheres of influence to build the society. 

Others honoured include, the First Lady of Kebbi State, Her Excellency Zainab Nasara Kaura, her predecessor and wife of former governor of the state, Her Excellency Fati Abubakar Atiku, the national women leader kv the governing APC, Hon. Mary Alile, USA/The Gambian citizen, Amb. Zainab Amusa Darboe Jammeh, Queen Mother Makhadzi, From USA, South African and host of others. 

Also in the list of awardees include, Sterling Alternate Bank Regional Manager, Aisha Ashafa, APC Deputy National Women Leader, Hajiya Zainab Ibrahim as well as Late Alhaja Habitat Mogaji(President Tinubu Mother) and Her Excellency Late Formal First Lady, Hajiya Mariam Ibrahim Babangida who were both honoured posthumously. 
Celebrity Carpenter has attracted accolades for bringing joy to hearts of mothers around Dei-dei community and environs by engaging their children in his Carpentry Academy, the first of its kind in Nigeria. 

The singular act and others have created a platform for these young Nigerians to create for themselves a career path in life and contribute to the welfare of their various families and dependents. 

Apart from the scholarship in his academy, he has also engaged in several other humanitarian interventions, including distribution of relief materials to families to mitigate the impact of economic hardship on them. 

Celebrity Carpenter, the Chief Executive Officer of Sagesse De Dieu Ltd was also recently turbaned with the traditional title of Garkuwan Matasa of Fillin-Dabo Dei-dei in the FCT

The traditional honour is in recognition of his numerous efforts to offer empowerment to young people to thrive in various trades, especially in furniture where he has carved a niche for himself over the years. 

Mr. Amiebenomo's Traditional Carpentry Programme has a duration of 5 years and is meant for teenagers between the ages of 16 - 19 years.

At the traditional turbaning, he also disbursed the sum of N400,000 individual business grants to vulnerable widows.
