Ex MBGN Beauty Queen Isabella Ayuk Unveils Organic "Shilow Parboiled Rice" to Tackle Hunger

An agricultural company, Shilow Integrated Farms has taken a drastic step to fight hunger and poverty among Nigerians through the release of its Shilow Parboiled rice into the market.

The organic, stone-free rice is part of interventions by the company to ensure that no Nigerian family goes to bed hungry, as it is available and affordable despite the high wields.

The brain behind this project, CEO of Shilow Integrated Farms, Isabella Ayuk a former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria said the product at the moment is available in Abuja and Cross River markets, describing the product as of premium quality. 
"Shilow organic parboiled rice is premium quality rice organic stone-free, pure white. It's for every family, for every Nigerian, made by Nigerian for Nigerians. 

"It's a meal that you can take, whether it's white rice, jollof rice, you will enjoy it with your family anytime. We are also delighted with the market response so far", she said.

She said the highly nutritious rice will also add value to the country's economic value chain as it is set to recruit more distributors in coming days.
In his remark, a guest at the product unveiling, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe urged Nigerians to patronize the brand as it will give them the maximum value for their money, noting that made-in-Nigeria products require every support to end the cycle of importation.
Amb. Chris Ode, a guest at the product launch commended Ayuk for demonstrating courage in making her dream a reality. He said Shilow Parboiled rice has been tested and approved by NAFDAC for consumption. 

Highlight of the event was the presentation of award of excellence for her contributions to nation-building and the country's economic development.
