Ondo guber : Ganduje hails Aiyedatiwa’s election, says it’s victory for democracy

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa on his decisive victory in the Ondo State gubernatorial election.

In a statement released on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje described the victory as a reflection of the people’s trust in Governor Ayedatiwa’s leadership, vision, and dedication to their welfare.

“This victory is not just a win for the APC but a triumph for democracy and the unwavering will of the people,” Ganduje stated. He emphasized that the outcome signifies the people’s confidence in the party, further cementing the APC’s position as the preferred choice for Nigerians.

Reflecting on recent electoral successes in both Edo and Ondo States, Ganduje remarked that these victories underline the nation’s growing acceptance of the APC. He confidently assured Nigerians that the party remains committed to sustaining its dominance in the political landscape for years to come.

The former two-term governor of Kano State noted that the Ondo election mirrored the collective aspirations of the state’s citizens, who have opted for continuity, progress, and development over stagnation.

Ganduje commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring a transparent, credible, and peaceful electoral process, which he believes reinforces Nigeria’s democratic progress.

He also appreciated the role of security agencies and other stakeholders in creating a safe environment for voters to freely exercise their rights.

He further acknowledged the efforts of the Progressives Governors Forum, led by Senator Hope Uzodimma, alongside the APC’s National Working Committee, party members, and supporters in Ondo State, attributing their dedication and unity to the party’s resounding success.

As Governor Ayedatiwa prepares to commence another term, Ganduje urged him to prioritize policies and programs that uplift the lives of Ondo State residents, assuring the governor of the APC’s steadfast support.
