Mayorkings Charity Foundation set to Honor 100 African iconic personalities

Mayorkings Charity Foundation, a non-profit organisation committed to supporting education, healthcare, and economic empowerment initiatives across Africa, with Sponsorship Supports from UR9 Group, said it is set to award 100 Africans, at the maiden edition of 'Prestigious 100 African Iconic Personalities Of The Year 2025'.

With the theme, "The Africa We Want, Collaboration Over Competition For A Sustainable Societal Advancement," the highly anticipated event is scheduled to hold on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

President/Founder of Mayorkings Agency Group, Amb. Dr. Temisan O. Louis, told newsmen that the ceremony is aimed at celebrating 

outstanding African personalities, who have made significant contributions to the continent's growth and development. 

Louis, who is the convener of the event, added that the ceremony would also recognise and honour African icons, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to societal advancement.

According to him, "The 100 African Iconic Personalities Of The Year 2025 is a platform to celebrate African excellence, promote collaboration, and inspire a new generation of leaders.

We are proud to host this event and recognise the outstanding contributions of African icons."

He explained that the objectives of the event also included; celebrating African excellence and achievement, promoting collaboration and unity among African leaders, inspiring a new generation of African leaders, as well as recognising and honouring African icons who have made significant contributions to the continent's growth and development.

Ambassador Louis added that the event, powered by Mayorkings Charity Foundation, is expected to attract dignitaries, celebrities, and influential personalities from across Africa.

Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of UR9 Group, Amb. Dr. Uriel Eze, said he is proud to support the initiative, because it aligns with the organisation's values of promoting African excellence and collaboration.

Highlights of the ceremony, according to him would involve; red-carpet reception, main event, keynote address by a distinguished African leader, awards presentation to the 100 African Iconic Personalities Of The Year 2025, and live music performances and entertainment.
