Celebrations As Kogi Born Ohikere Nabila Wins Miss Indigenous Tourism Crown
A beauty queen, Ohikere Nabila has emerged the winner of the 2025 Miss Indigenous Tourism Pageant amidst pomp and pageantry.
The grand finale of the Miss Indigenous Tourism Pageant show took place in Abuja’s Farm City, which buzzed with cultural pride as the beauty queens filed out in the presence of their supporters and loved ones.
The 2025 edition, which was the 9th in the series attracted the presence of political and traditional elders, entrepreneurs, entertainment icons and women advocates.
They watched with keen interest the display of indigenous heritage throughout rigorous competition, which tested cultural knowledge and leadership.
Ohikere Nabila born in Kogi state represented Anambra in the contest.
Six other winners also emerged in various categories.
Responding after she was declared winner, she said, "My victory celebrated my eloquence in advocating sustainable cultural tourism, unwavering patriotism, and ability to bridge diverse communities.
"By championing Anambra’s heritage while honoring my Ebira roots, I embodied Nigeria’s unity in diversity.
"This crown empowers me to amplify marginalized voices and promote indigenous pride, underscoring the power of cultural stewardship in driving national unity and progress."
