High Expectations As ME Foundation to Hold International Conference in Abuja on Friday

A non-governmental organisation that focuses on supporting and building confidence in female gender in order to understand themselves and pursue a purposeful life, ME Foundation has concluded arrangements to host an international conference in Abuja on Friday, June 27, 2025.
The foundation according to the founder, Dr. Vivian Victor an early years educator was borne out of love and concern to help protect every young girl aged 15 to 30 years to reach their full potentials, free from discrimination and limitations.
According to her, the foundation is of firm belief that every girl deserves a chance to thrive in her own capacities, as the foundation targets young girls as early as 15 years old so that it could guide them into discovering who they are and their very purpose in life.
"As a charity organization, we have created a platform or a ladder to assist young women discover themselves, make right choices and live to their full potential. we protect and give every young girl equity and fairness because she is the author of her own story, the captain of her own ship, the feminine face of God. Therefore we have created various programmes to assist these our young women navigate life easily and better", she said in a statement in Abuja.
Apart from its "Skilled Babe" campaign which helps in empowering young girls in fields such as Hair Dressing, Fashion Designing, Catering, Baking, Bag/Shoe Making, Bead Making, Event Management and others, it also has other projects such as House A Babe, Clothe A Babe and several advocacy programmes to advance inclusivity.
It has carried out projects in places such as Nasarawa, Kano, Delta, Imo, Enugu states and others, meeting secondary school girls and undergraduates, carrying out sensitization campaigns on why they should be deliberate and purposeful in life. It has also distributed sanitary towels to girls and offered assistance to those in need of support for payment of school fees.
The international conference coming up on Friday has as the theme: Rejection: Catalyst for Growth and will feature empowerment, skills acquisition, panel discussion, training and seminars.
It will hold at House 17, 7th Avenue, Gwarimpa Abuja, starting from 11:00am.
Guests expected in attendance include, Mrs. Chichi Umeseaka, Alex Nwankwo a PR practitioner, Stacey Agbon, Ruby Akabueze and more.
