Organiser of Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja, Hon. Ejiro Okpihwo Joins Councillorship Race
The Project Director of Most Beautiful Girl In Abuja Pageant (MBGA), Hon. Ejiro Okpihwo has joined the race for the councillorship of Wuse, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the forthcoming local government polls.
He is contesting on the platform of Labour Party. On Thursday, he was accompanied by a large crowd of supporters to the party's secretariat where he picked his nomination and expression of interest forms.
"Yesterday (Thursday), 28th May, I, Hon. Ejiro Okpihwo (EJYCE 2) took a significant step towards serving our beloved Wuse-Ward by picking up my nomination form to contest Again for the office of Councillor 2026 here in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC)!" Hon. Okpihwo said in a social media post.
He called Labour Party loyalists and supporters to rally round him with their prayers and support ahead of primaries, promising to make a difference if he emerges the candidate and winner.
While expressing hope that the upcoming primaries will be transparent and seamless in line with the party's avowed commitment to due process, Hon. Okpihwo noted that openness is the bedrock of every thriving democracy.
Very popular among young people who constitute the largest voting population, he had in the last two decades been organizing Beautiful Girl In Abuja Pageant (MBGA) show assisting him to discover talents and empower young people.
Recall that this is the second time he is taking this bold step to make impact in the wuse ward and it is believed with the love and grassroot influence has accumulated over the year, this is obviously the brightest chance to emerge victorious.
