Accolades As Promiseland Foundation, Amb. Gift Emmanuel Bags Philanthropist of the Year Award
The Managing Director of a foremost non-governmental organization, Promiseland Foundation, Amb. Gift Emmanuel has been honoured as Philanthropist of the Year, confirming her position in the humanitarian firmament as a woman with the heart of gold for the downtrodden and less privileged in our society.
The award was conferred on her at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja on Friday, August 22 at the 2025 edition of Humanitarian Awards, Magazine and Summit (HAMS).
With the theme, "Building Bridges of Hope: Transforming Lives with Compassion and Innovation", the event was aimed at appreciating individuals and organizations that has supported humanity through philanthropy.
Amb. Mrs. Emmanuel stands out as a compassionate change maker who is associated with several efforts to uplift, empower and support.
She has brought hope to the vulnerable through many efforts including the monthly distribution of food items and other relief materials in which hundreds of persons benefit.
This is accompanied by highly dignified treatment, organised logistics and safe transportation system she provides for beneficiaries.
She has also facilitated donation of land for construction of befitting accommodation for widows of military and police officers.
Her foundation has also supported physically challenged persons through donation of relief materials and cash payment to make life much better for them.
She expressed gratitude to the award organizers for the recognition, noting that the award will spur her to do more to impact humanity.
The award was presented to her representative by Anambra First Lady, Mrs Nonye Soludo.
Others honoured at the ceremony include, Adamawa First Lady, Hajiya Lami Fintiri, her Katsina state counterpart, Zulaihat Dikko Radda, founder Professor Chris Imumolen Foundation, Prof. Christopher Imumolen, founder OCI Foundation Global Health & Youth Empowerment Advocate, Dr. Amb. Onyebuchi Ifediora and others.
