*Group Set to Mark 2026 International Youth Day With Impact Forum in Abuja*
Plans have been concluded for the hosting of the Youth Impact Forum 2026, a flagship initiative of the I-Heal Global Youth Impact Forum (IGYIF), as part of activities to commemorate the 2026 International Youth Day.
The event is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja, with the theme, "Youth Empowerment for a Sustainable Future."
According to the organisers, the forum is designed to equip young people with practical skills, leadership capacity, and opportunities that will enable them to become active contributors to sustainable development.
Speaking on the significance of the programme, the organisers said the forum goes beyond motivational speeches by providing participants with access to opportunities capable of transforming their ideas into successful ventures.
"Youths don't just need inspiration, they need opportunity. IGYIF is where ideas become businesses and skills become income," the organisers stated.
They explained that participants at the forum will benefit from interactions with global mentors, policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and development experts who will share practical insights on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and career advancement.
The organisers further disclosed that attendees will enjoy high-level leadership and capacity-building sessions, while also networking with young leaders from across Nigeria and different parts of the world.
The event will also provide participants with valuable exposure to career, innovation, and entrepreneurship opportunities, as well as increased visibility for their ideas, initiatives, and community projects.
In addition, every registered participant will receive a certificate of participation and recognition, while qualified attendees will have access to non-refundable grant opportunities aimed at supporting youth-led initiatives.
Selected participants will also have the opportunity to receive startup equipment support to launch or expand their businesses and innovative ventures.
The forum is expected to attract youths, government officials, development partners, private sector stakeholders, civil society organisations, entrepreneurs, students, and policymakers committed to advancing youth empowerment and sustainable development in Nigeria.
Registration for the event is currently ongoing, and interested participants are encouraged to register through the official portal: https://waterlightsave.africa/i-heal-registration/.
