In a strategic move to strengthen youth participation and connect with Nigeria's emerging generation of leaders, Oyo State Governor and Allied Peoples Movement (APM) presidential candidate, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has appointed popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, David Fiase, widely known as David AllGreen, as Special Adviser on Young Professionals and Youth Engagement.

A graduate of the University of Jos, Fiase brings a rich blend of experience in youth mobilisation, entertainment, strategic communication and public engagement. He served as Mobilisation Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) during his university days and later as Special Adviser on Media to the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

Beyond the entertainment industry, Fiase has distinguished himself through contributions to youth development, environmental sustainability, cultural promotion and community mobilisation.

His appointment is expected to inject fresh energy into the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign by strengthening connections with young professionals, students, entrepreneurs, creatives and emerging leaders across Nigeria.

Leveraging his networks, media experience and grassroots mobilisation skills, Fiase is expected to help transform political communication into meaningful engagement, inspire wider youth participation and create opportunities for young Nigerians to contribute ideas to governance and national development.

The appointment reflects the growing recognition that Nigeria's future cannot be shaped without the active involvement of its young people. It also positions the creative industry as an important partner in leadership, civic engagement and nation-building.

For Fiase, the assignment presents an opportunity to bring together creativity, professional expertise and youth energy in advancing a national vision that places young Nigerians at the centre of the country's political and developmental future.
